Fidel Castro inspires a Republican

Republican, Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado, aka Mr. Bigotry, disses Miami in more ways than one.

Just a reminder, this is the same guy who suggested Mecca be bombed, and considers diversity a "terror threat."

Tancredo is the grandson of Italian immigrants. What is even more ironic about his racist position on immigration and his adamant disgust toward Miami is that he claims his interest in politics began as a teen when he played Fidel Castro for his eight-grade class assignment.

He would probably be excited to learn that most people in Miami have something in common with him: Fidel Castro got them to care about politics.

But how exactly did Fidel inspire Rep. Tancredo? Could it have been Fidel's passion for talking to much, or his low tolerance toward political diversity?

Here is something Fidel and him have in common: They led Governor Jeb Bush to say "What a nut!" And they both fell on their faces after opening their mouths.
